Grasslander Added to OISP

Grasslander

Last week Brannon Knight, The Orianne Society’s Stewardship Coordinator, traveled to Hennessey, Oklahoma, to pick up a planter made by the company Grasslander. The seeder is designed to allow the planting of a variety of species and particular fluffy-dirty seed that is not “cleaned.” The seeder was purchased by National Fish and Wildlife Foundation funds to facilitate groundcover restoration projects throughout the Ft.Stewart/Altamaha Significant Geographic Area. It will not only be used on the Orianne Indigo Snake Preserve, but also on private lands and other cooperating partner lands in the future.
